experiment two: five image captures

The amalgamation yet distinction of the natural and the built; an instrumental concept in the execution of this design, as the hypotheses of both clients essentially return to the principles of these two worldly entities. The rawness of landscape and of structure highlight the purity of each and an appreciation of such an environment.

Light becomes an aesthetic, yet scientifically relevant, component of Freud's studio, with Agnesi's lab sitting above, open to the elements of inspiration, appropriate to the expression of complexity through simplicity.
Embedded in the natural, untouched landscape, the structure emerges as a pure and serene environment, suitable for maximum concentration and, thus, efficiency of the respective clients' activities.

Here, the meeting point for the respective clients, is a relatively simple space, free of elements that detract from the thought processes of either of the individuals - a mutual and neutral ground. Access to this space is achieved by simple means. That is, not by structural means, but rather by surrendering to the external elements- by following the landform.

ready to import into Sandbox

Link to this sketch-up model in Google Warehouse:

These screenshots are of the final model that I put into Crysis

Sandbox2, textures and all.
The model is designed to sit upon a cliff or a hill, and
to facilitate the experiments of Maria Agnesi and Sigmund Freud.
The electroliquid aggregation that somewhat inspired such a model
may be observed in the post below.

electroliquid aggregation

The complexity and geometrical nature of forms, inherently derived from mathematical formulas, is capable of creating a fluid connection between the the built environment and man's condition.

screenshots captured of the combined axonometric model embedded in the crysis environment, harmonising land and the water, drawn together through the enormous presence of an unnatural inhabitation implanted deeply within each of these natural elements.

sketchbook to sketchup to crysis

With inspiration from the hypothesis 'special forms will drastically influence the psychology of both extrovert and introvert', I created my axonometric sketch as a SketchUp model, and then imported it into CryEngine Sandbox.

Here it is... (with an added texture, modified landscape, and mood lighting)
